Youth Impact
The story began when Wahiba, a 24-year-old girl, participated in the Hiwarouna project with the Forum for Development, Culture and Dialogue (FDCD), in cooperation with Danmission, in a workshop on social cohesion. After the workshop, Wahiba trained young women and men in Aleppo, who in their turn were very excited, and started an initiative that joins together mothers from Aleppo from different religions.
They participated together by making sweets that were distributed to the children on Christmas, that's how they created happiness with their hands and spread this happiness with love and a smile. They shared the Holiday with each other and broke the barriers of sadness and hatred with great joy.
